| Summary: |
Belinda Richter first went to Papua New Guinea (PNG) as a short-term missionary in 1999. She continues to serve the Lord there as a career missionary along with Jennifer Pearson, Matt and Rebekah Crain, and the Michael Berbin family in Aibai. Although part of her time is spent seeing patients for physical therapy, her main ministry is through teaching. She teaches literacy classes (which provide opportunities for evangelism and biblical instruction). She also teaches religious instruction (RI) classes in local elementary schools -- which provide an opportunity to reach the children of PNG for Christ. These classes have 30-35 students in them. Belinda shares her burden for these children: “PNG needs a generation of young people to grow up and follow [Jesus]!” She also teaches Sunday school, and she teaches discipleship lessons one-on-one to ladies.
